The California Attorneys' Examination is open to attorneys already admitted in another US jurisdiction who have practiced for a required number of years. It is essays and a performance test, no MBE. Studying for it often has to fit around full-time work.
Bengos is built only for the written portion. You type California rule statements drawn from past exams and graded selected answers, on a review schedule that fits into short daily sessions. No MBE question bank to work through. For the performance test, use released past PTs; it uses open materials and is not what Bengos trains.
You have been a lawyer for years. What you likely do not have is the core California distinctions ready to write out fast in the 60 minutes each essay allows. You do not need them word for word, just enough of each rule to apply it to the facts. That is a recall-and-speed problem, and it is what Bengos is built for.
